Best schnitzel in Wiesmoor

Tastes are known to be different and should I fall clearly out of the frame with my review, but I cannot understand the many reviews, some of them very good. But let's first come to the positive. The restaurant team is very friendly and accommodating and the portions are really cheap and downright gigantic. Rarely seen such a large schnitzel. But that was it. The ambience is from a long past decade. It needs to be renovated badly. The toilets are a total disaster. The ancient machine in the men's toilet speaks volumes. The food is ok but also far from the average standard. As a snack it would just work. As a pub, the place would probably work fine, with a meatball on hand. But unfortunately it is not recommended as a restaurant.

The schnitzel was very large unfortunately I could quickly identify the gypsy sauce as a pusta sauce from the glass. The Hollondaise was from a tetra pack from Thomy. The service was very good and Lars Eilers was very nice. My recommendation is to order a dry schnitzel because you can bring the Hollandaise sauce yourself.

Very good = the schnitzel size, bad = everything else. Although open from 6pm, it was still closed at 6:30 pm. The service looked a bit surprised, because we wanted to eat. She then led us into a large hall where time has stopped. Not only that on 11.01. everything was decorated for Christmas, but also that the entire ambience of the middle of the last century corresponded. About the partly stained tablecloths we have seen times We then opted for a gypsy schnitzel with fries and a turkey schnitzel with hollandaise and croquettes. Okay, the schnitzel were really big. Even so big that the pork steak hung over the edge of the plate. Maybe oval dishes would be more suitable. We quickly identified the gypsy sauce as a pusta sauce from the glass. The Hollondaise was one of Tommy's tetra pack. My petite wife got 12! Croquettes. 8 of them went back. What happened with it? Price was the food including two beers and a wine with 25,70 € fine, the whole package but rather the level of a fast food, without devaluing want.

The food is really great! The schnitzel was breaded and fried. The French fries 1a deep-fried and seasoned. The fried potatoes were perfect too. The prices are really cheap! The portion is huge as you can see in the pictures👍 Rarely seen such a large schnitzel. We always order and eat it at home, so I can't say much about the service, but she has always been friendly and nice to us when we call and pick it up. Always happy👍

The four of us with voucher book fed. Reserve a table in advance and take a seat in a dining room. The tablecloths were not clean ... the only negative point. The schnitzel are crispy and juicy. Deep frying the fries and croquettes. The portions lush, you get full. The boss was friendly and accommodating. Price / performance ratio very good. Parking available. All in all: we'll be back !!!
